Frequently asked questions

Funderland opens 19th, 20th, 21st , 22nd and 23rd December prior to Christmas from 11am to 9pm on these dates.
From 26th December to 11th January we open from 12pm to 10pm but we close early on New Year's Eve at around 8pm.
Also from Monday, January 5th and 7th our opening time is from 2pm to 9pm as the schools reopen.

It is a discounted method of pre payment for the attractions. You pre-pay for 10 rides and receive a voucher that you can use to get on any attraction (except the Altitude attraction) . You can really enjoy it because you can share the voucher, you can partially use it at any time during the current event and you can also gift it to someone.

An Admission charge of €2 will apply to all patrons entering Funderland. An admission ticket for a Family (2 Adults & 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children) will cost €5. We do not charge for children under 3 years of age.

Parking facilities on site are managed by APCOA on behalf of the RDS and operate on a fee-paying basis.

Contactless payment systems are provided on most attractions. You can Pay-As-You-Go, having paid the admission price you simply pay for the individual attraction(s) of your choice. You can also use our self-service kiosks to purchase tickets and the 10 Shot Deal using contactless payment methods.

If you have booked online please bring your Order Number (this appears on screen once you have booked). You will also be sent a confirmation email with a PDF attachment. If possible, print a copy of your pdf attachment and bring it with you. If, for any reason, you cannot print the email attachment please ensure that you have your Order number and QR Code to avoid delays and inconvenience. If you do not receive an email confirming your booking, please check your Spam folder before contacting us. You can use our new self-service kiosks to redeem your online order.

The Ultimate Thrill Attractions at Funderland have minimum height restrictions varying from 1.2 meters to 1.4 meters. Many of the Family attractions at Funderland do not have height restrictions however, we recommend small children are accompanied by a responsible person. At Funderland we have many suitable attractions for our Junior guests who are under 1.2 meters height.

Wristbands are not available for this event. Individual attractions offer family discount deals and we have a 10 Shot Deal that you can redeem on any of the rides (except the Altitude). You prepay €40 for ten rides. You can order this voucher online or buy one at the main entrance. This 10 Shot Deal also makes an ideal Gift.
NOTE: Admission is paid separate to this 10 Shot Deal.
